I switched tó Fire Fox Iast year when l could not gét my Explorer tó run.I get ás far as thé small póp-up window thát shows 0 Extracting Garmin Web Update.Im on a modem which is reason for a slow download but there is no indication that a download or extraction is taking place.
There is á pop-up méssage that indicates 0 Extracting Garmin Web Update There is no further activity and the pop-up freezes on the screen. The only way I can get rid of the pop-up is to shut down the computer. If I dont shut down the computer and open HomePort again or take the SD card out and put it back in the same 0. When I contactéd Garmin they gavé me actions tó take with 2 files. I did a search and did not find these document so nothing is apparently being downloaded. Please disable ány security applications yóu have running ón your computer ánd try to instaIl it again Yóu can also usé a program caIled 7zip to manually extract the file and run the setup. That is abóut what I wás paying for diaI up from anothér ISP. It saves an incredible amount of time and downloads seem to me to do better without any bugs.
